Consent to the processing of personal data
By completing the registration form for the international research and practice conference “Strategic Vectors of Modern Marketing Development Under Global Change” (13–16 October 2026, Moscow), I freely, of my own will and in my own interest give my consent to the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education “Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba” (hereinafter — the Operator) to process my personal data. The conference is organised by Department of Marketing, Faculty of Economics, RUDN University.
1. Personal data processed
The Operator processes the following personal data provided by me in the registration form: full name; email address; telephone number; name of the university (organisation); position or status; chosen section; form of participation; paper title and details of co-authors (if any).
If participation with a paper is selected, the Operator additionally processes the paper file and the author details it contains (names, place of work or study, contact details), as well as the result of the automated check of the paper against the formatting requirements.
By providing details of co-authors and submitting a paper, I confirm that I have obtained the co-authors’ consent to the processing of their personal data for the purposes set out below.
2. Purposes of processing
Personal data is processed for the purposes of organising and holding the conference: registering participants, drawing up the programme, sending organisational information, preparing materials and publications following the event, and communicating with the participant.
The paper file is processed in order to check compliance with the formatting requirements, for peer review and for the preparation of the collection of conference papers. The automated check is carried out by the Operator’s own software on its own server; neither the file nor its contents are transferred to third parties.
3. Operations performed on personal data
The Operator may collect, record, systematise, accumulate, store, update (amend, modify), retrieve, use, transfer (provide, grant access) to authorised members of the organising committee, anonymise, block, delete and destroy personal data — by automated means and otherwise.
4. Validity of consent and data retention
This consent is valid from the moment the registration form is submitted until the purposes of processing are achieved or the consent is withdrawn. Participant data and paper files are stored for no longer than one year after the conference ends — the period needed to prepare the collection of papers and reporting — after which they are destroyed.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by sending a written request to conference-marketing@rudn.ru. Upon withdrawal, the Operator ceases processing and destroys the personal data within thirty days.
5. Rights of the data subject
I have the right to obtain information about the processing of my personal data, to require it to be corrected, blocked or destroyed if it is incomplete, out of date, inaccurate or not necessary for the stated purpose of processing, and to withdraw this consent.
A request must be made in writing or as an electronic document and must contain information identifying the applicant together with their signature. A response is provided within ten working days of the request. The Operator’s actions may be appealed to Roskomnadzor or in court.
